The Construction Industry Leadership Forum has developed practice notes to guide better practice in developing, procuring and delivering infrastructure projects.
Australian Constructors Association CEO Jon Davies said the Construction Industry Leadership Forum provides a platform for information sharing and it is committed to promoting improved outcomes.
“Everyone wants to see a more sustainable construction industry and the sharing of best practice is one way this can be achieved,” said Mr Davies.
“The Construction Industry Leadership Forum has many positive examples of improved outcomes, and we are proactively building a library of notes to share with the sector.”
The first tranche of practice notes covers topics including bid cost contributions, cash neutrality, early contractor involvement, early works packaging, electronic tendering, interface risk management, entitlements and reducing procurement costs.
